Kraigg Carrington

CAST

Kraigg Carrington joins Laff-it-Off 2026 with the kind of energy you can’t hide — even if you tried.

From his school days at Christ Church Foundation, Kraigg declared (loudly and proudly) that he would be part of Laff-it-Off one day. Now, at 23, he’s officially the youngest performer to hit the stage in the show’s 41-year history — and he’s bringing a level of talent and experience that goes well beyond his age.

Over the past eight years, Kraigg has built an impressive theatre portfolio: Barbados Community College’s Theatre Arts programme, standout roles in Beneath the Smoke, CARIFESTA XV’s Daylight – A Tribute to Burgie, a national stand-up performance, and a string of popular comedy skits on Instagram that have pulled in millions of views. His knack for capturing everyday Bajan life, paired with sharp comedy timing, has made him one to watch on and off the stage.

What makes his Laff-it-Off debut even sweeter? He gets to share the stage with Angelo Lascelles, the teacher who first convinced him that theatre was more than a “free CXC.” The pair joked for years about Kraigg eventually joining the cast, never imagining the moment would arrive so soon.

Kraigg’s creativity doesn’t end with acting. He loves scriptwriting, directing, and the full production process, passions that shine through in his online content and his growing list of creative collaborations, including work with BMEX, CPL, and the NCF.

Beyond the spotlight, he teaches Health Science to Class 1–4 students at Luther Thorne Memorial Primary School and founded a boys’ drama club focused on “expression through depression.” His long-term dream? To open a theatre school in Barbados and create a space where young performers can find their voice.

For now, he’s ready to bring fresh energy, quick wit, and a whole new vibe to Laff-it-Off 2026 — and audiences are going to love every minute.
